Magnolia Advent Calendar - Day 28

Hi Everyone,

Merry Christmas!!!!

Even tough it's pass December 25th, but we're having so much fun doing the Magnolia Advent Calendar, we're going to do it until December 31st. There's still so much present to give.

This time I'm making a lantern, here's the photos (beware!! It's a lot of photos because I wanted to show you since I'm so proud of it). The pattern and tutorial I use is from the super talented Norma, you can see her tutorial here.

Here's on all four sides:

Here's when it's lit (I found an electronic candle on a one-price store, so it will avoid any burn)

Details:
Stamps: Helylle Tilda, Edwin med Lykta, "Merry Christmas from our family to yours" text.
Paper: Crate Paper Peppermint Collection, Red tracing paper (which I have no idea where I got it, but it's there laying around my desk waiting to be used).
Embellishment: Magnolia flowers, Maya Road Snowflake Transparencies-White and Vintage Wood Snowflakes (I'm going nuts over these snowflakes, I love them a lot), Berries flowers small gold Pinecone from local craft store
Coloring: Copic: Skin E11 E02 E00 E000 E0000 R20, Dress Shoes Hair R39 R29 R24 R22 E49 E47 E44 E43 E42 E41 E40
Other: Magnolia Doohickey Tilda's Tag, Lovely Fence, Mini Doily, DI Walnut Stain.

Now... if you want a very yummy Christmas present sent directly from Magnolia Sweden, all you have to do is put your name in the blue froggy below, it will randomly draw a winner tomorrow at 4 pm Western Indonesian Time (WIB) GMT+7 December 29th.

Thank you so much for stopping by, have a Happy New Year 2012 everyone!!!

White Christmas

Hi Everyone,

Today I want to join a very challenging challenge (why in the h*ll I say something like that??)

Anyway..... just look at my card, It's all white, very hard to photograph too, It took me almost an hour before my Dad takes over and save me, thanks Dad!

Stamps: Snowheart Tilda, Snowflakes big and small (Sweet Christmas 2011) Merry Christmas text (Merry Little Christmas 2010)
Paper: plain white paper, acetate paper
Embellishment: Shabby white rose: Magnolia, pom pom ribbon from stash
Coloring Copic
Other: Doohickey Lovely Fence, Tilda Lace, Scalloped Tag, Distress stickles frosted lace, icicle, glossy accent, white glue ans snow props from local hardware store

I don't know if you can see them, but there are snowflakes stamp all over the acetate with staz on white opaque.
And on Tilda... now I'm sure she had a little bit of glamour side so I can't just leave her dress plain white, I put a lot of Distress stickles in frosted lace, icicle, and put some glossy accent on her scarf, unfortunately stickles makes the memento bleed a little, other than that... who says white is boring, hahaha!!

This white card joins:
Totally Tilda - white on white
Just Magnolia - I'm dreaming of a white christmas
It's A Magnolia Challenge - punch/die cut
Simon says challenge - photo inspiration

Hope you like it,
Hugs from Indonesia,
Irene
